You will own the commercial conversation while partnering with our technical and implementation teams.
Apply nowWhere you will create value
Our technology connects operational systems and information, supports repeatable workflows, validates automated outputs, routes exceptions for human review, and keeps the records needed for oversight. The sale is about dependable workflow outcomes, not a standalone chatbot or an unqualified promise to replace staff.
Health systems and medical groups
Patient access, eligibility, prior authorization, claims and coding quality, denial follow-up, and accounts receivable workflows.
Health plans and payers
Prior-authorization operations, claims exception review, appeals routing, and program-integrity support where accountable human review remains essential.
Delivery partners
Technology consultants and selected healthcare service organizations looking to offer governed automation to their own clients through partner-led engagements.
What you will own
- Build a focused, account-based pipeline through executive relationships, informed outreach, referrals, and channel partners; prioritize organizations with a specific workflow problem and a credible business sponsor.
- Lead discovery with revenue cycle executives, CFOs, operations leaders, and payer teams. Map the current process, volumes, payer variation, manual touchpoints, failure modes, and measurable baselines.
- Translate operational pain into a financial case using cost to collect, staff effort, rework, turnaround time, denial trends, aging, and the quality or control measures that matter to each buyer.
- Own opportunities from discovery and tailored demonstrations through a paid, scoped pilot and enterprise agreement; establish a workflow owner, success criteria, evaluation timeline, and explicit expansion decision.
- Coordinate early with IT, information security, privacy, AI governance, finance, legal, and procurement. Surface EHR/practice-management integrations, data-access constraints, and review requirements before they delay a deal.
- Develop partner opportunities with technology consulting and healthcare service firms; clarify the buyer relationship, commercial responsibilities, pilot ownership, and implementation handoff.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, next steps, stakeholder maps, and forecasts; provide concise weekly reporting and relay customer feedback to product and technical leadership.
What makes you effective
- 7+ years of consultative B2B technology or technology-enabled services sales, including meaningful experience selling into U.S. providers, health plans, RCM organizations, or similarly complex healthcare buyers.
- Demonstrated full-cycle ownership of complex opportunities (prospecting, discovery, solution shaping, executive alignment, due diligence, negotiation, and closing) rather than introductions alone.
- Working command of the revenue cycle, from front-end authorization and eligibility through claims, denials, payments, and AR, with the ability to explain payer-specific operational problems in plain language.
- Ability to explain AI-enabled workflow automation, human approval and escalation, validation, auditability, and the distinction between operational support and clinical or coverage determinations.
- Experience building credible ROI models and testing them with client data; strong judgment about assumptions, scope, change management, and when to involve subject-matter experts.
- Confidence with multi-stakeholder selling, disciplined CRM practices, self-directed execution, and transparent communication in a fractional arrangement.
Experience that adds value
Previous healthcare RCM operations leadership; selling AI, RPA, analytics, or workflow platforms; exposure to Epic, Oracle Health, athenahealth or other EHR/PM environments; payer claims or utilization-management knowledge; and co-selling or partner-led services experience. We value evidence of results and learning agility across different career paths.
How success will be assessed
Early traction
A realistic account and partner plan, decision-maker access, well-qualified discovery meetings, and documented use cases with budget ownership and data readiness.
Commercial progress
Well-scoped pilot opportunities with agreed baselines, appropriate controls, economic sponsorship, and a credible route to a purchase decision.
Long-term impact
Pilots that demonstrate agreed outcomes and grow into sustainable deployments, with accurate forecasts and strong implementation handoffs.
Working model
This is a senior, client-facing, fractional role: a remote 1099 independent contractor engagement, paid as a monthly retainer that is negotiable based on experience and scope. You will work closely with our executive, product, technical, and marketing teams. You lead the commercial process; specialized engineering, solution validation, and formal security or legal assurances remain with the appropriate internal experts.
